Aloha Kahaluʻu Ward,

With the school year starting again, many of us are getting used to new schedules, activities, and responsibilities. Sometimes life can be stressful and we may wonder why we are put in certain situations or why some things happen to us.

In the story of Esther, we’re reminded that the Lord has a place and purpose for each of us. Esther was put in a position where she had the chance to save her people. When she felt scared and was unsure what to do, Mordecai told her, “who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?" Esther 4:14.

Esther probably didn’t know why everything in her life was happening the way it was, but she still had faith in Heavenly Father and chose to do what she thought was right. I think we can relate to Esther in our lives. We don’t always understand why we go through certain challenges but maybe the Lord has placed us here for “such a time as this”

Being an instrument in God’s hand doesn’t always mean doing something big. It could be as small as checking in on a family member, being kind to someone you notice is having a hard time, or just having the courage to stand up for what is right. We may not always know the reason we go through the things we do, but we can trust that Heavenly Father knows us and has a plan for us.

MONTHLY FAMILY MESSAGE

TEACHING GOSPEL PRINCIPLES TO CHILDREN

Parents’ teachings can help children stay strong in the faith.

Parents are to teach their children the first principles and ordinances of the gospel.

Parents should “teach their children to pray, and to walk uprightly before the Lord.”

These are the three points that are discussed in lesson 13 of the Family Relations manual. God has given parents the responsibility to teach their children principles of righteousness.

wassupppp errybodyyy hope you all had the besttt week we had a good week half of is was planning the transfer board and the other half was exchanges

Our area is also doing much much better than previous weeks, we have 2 friends one from argentina (camilo) and one from colombia (juan) theyre both looking to commit to a church and came to church on sunday ANDDD stayed for a lesson after please keep praying for them we really wanna see them progress

not too much to report this week its been so good im loving life, having to say goodbye to lots of my friends now, but gang i come home next month send me some emails id love to hear from yall
